Penn State Game / Late Night Landscaping

Another fun weekend in our new house. Sat night we had Christi, Chad, Shanna and Will over for the Penn State vs. Ohio State game. Trev was obviously routing for PSU, while Chad & Christi are big Buckeye fans. It made for a fun and late evening!!

Retake of Lindsay's 1st Birthday Pics

Trev & Tyler are up in PA this weekend. So I am lucky enough to have a 'girls' weekend with Lindsay. So I thought it would be a good idea to try to have her pics done again since the last time was a fiasco. Well, she cried immediately when they brought her in the room. I was ready to leave again but the lady told me to just let her hang out for a while. So about 20-30 mins later...Lindsay stopped crying hysterically and we got a few decent shots...not exactly what I had in mind..but better than last time :)

We brought some props...the bear rug that my dad and Barb got her and the blanket that we had made for her by a friend's mom. She did a great job on it as you can see....

Her eyes are a bit red and puffy from the crying...but here are a few of my favorites...

Pumpkinville with Grammy

My mom came for her annual October visit. We had a lot of fun today and went to Pumpkinville. Here are some pics from the trip.

Attempt at some Prof Pics

We went to Portrait Innovations today for some pics of the kids. The main one was to get some pics of Lindsay for her 1st birthday. I had an adorable tutu and sweater for her to wear for the pics, but as you will see below...we didn't make it that far! Last time I went at 9, we were the first appt and the kids were great! We got great pics and I was super happy with them. This time, we went at 9 again and Lindsay was tired and wanted a nap. She didn't cooperate at all, so below is the best of the best....and they aren't that great :( We only did pics in 1 out of 3 of the oulfits that I brought. Oh well...maybe a different time will be better. Tyler did great though..hamming it up as usual!

Our Little Walker!

Our little Lindsay is trying to walk! Over the last week she started standing without holding onto anything and now we catch her taking a few steps on and off. She has pretty good balance for just starting out this week! She is much slower than Tyler was...he tried to run before walk! Here's Lindsay in action tonight after dinner!
