Tyler's Bday Party

On Saturday, Tyler had his first 'big kid' birthday party. We had it at a place in Ashburn called The Little Gym. When Tyler woke up on Sat, the first thing he said to me was 'it today my party Mom?' He had such a blast with all of his friends!!

Busy Weekend

We had a lot of fun this weekend. Here are some pics below.

This picture is cracks me up....we all sat down for lunch. We all know how Lindsay LOVES to eat. We all ate and finished our lunches, dishes were done...and there's Lindsay, still sitting at the table working on her little meal :) And she was so content sitting there eating every last bite!

Tyler picked out this cake at Costco for his daddy. He said that his dad had to have a bday cake and that he liked this one! I guess it goes with the March Madness this month....

Sat night we had some friends over for a little party for Trev's bday. We had mexican food, coronas and margaritas. It was a fun night!

Sat morning we went to our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. The kids had a blast. They were both so excited to get the eggs and then see what was inside.

The Deck is Done!

Yeah, the deck is done! We are so excited about it and glad we will be able to enjoy it all spring. Now we just need to do some minor landscaping to get the rest of the yard in shape :)

Tyler was SO excited to eat out on the deck tonight. Luckily, the little picnic table that Armella gave us nicely matches the deck! Also, we had a gate built in on top of the stairs to help keep little ones from escaping!

March Madness

As the month nears end, we have been very busy this month and April won't be any different.

March Madness it was last Friday night when we came home to our tv, internet and phones being out. Of course Trev was a little upset with Verizon since he was looking forward to watching basketball that night :) But we ended up getting tv later that night back on and the phone and internet the next morning...so it wasn't too bad :)

Late March brought the start of construction on our deck. It will be finished early this week, but here are some pics below of it in progress. We are very excited about the deck and can't wait until its done so we can enjoy it. Down the road we are going to add a patio where the stairs hit the ground, but not sure when that's going to happen :) Here's the view from the 2nd floor door.

Tyler & Lindsay yesterday. We we about to go to an Easter Egg Hunt, but it ended up getting canceled due to rain. They are still bestest friends. When I asked him who he really wanted to come to his bday party next week, he said 'Lindsay'. Awe....

Britney Concert

Tues night I went to the Britney / Pussycat Dolls concert in DC with some friends. It was a fun, late night. Here are a few pics from it, we had great seats!

First Half Of March - Randoms

Well March has been quite a month so far. We've had snow, then 70 degree weather, winds and they are predicting snow showers again this week. Crazy!

First, we had the snow. Here are Tyler and Trev on a snow day that we had. Tyler was SO excited to use out his new snow shovel that is 'just like Daddy's' for the first time.

Chris, Leslie, Sean and their new baby, Jacob, came to visit last weekend. We had such a good time. I love watching Tyler and Sean play together. Leslie and I were about 4, so the same age Tyler is now, when we met.
