Tyler's Fun Weekend

Well Tyler sure had a fun long weekend. He got to go on his 4wheeler, play baseball, basketball, soccer, ride his bike, go in the sprinkler and have a cupcake! For a 3 year old, those are all pretty exciting things. Here are some pics from the weekend!

Getting So Big

Well Miss Lindsay sure is getting big! She is now 8 months old and is starting to be on the move. She now can be quite restless and is very into trying to crawl. So far she can only go backwards, but I know that she will be putting it in Drive soon and going forwards. When did my little girl start to get so big?? She can get quite frustrated sometimes during her crawling attempts. She blows raspberries when she is upset and we see it quite often..whether its with crawling or wanting to eat or be picked up. And she's entering the stage where she cries when I leave the room :( She's been enjoying the nice weather with the family and we have been going on some nice walks outside together. We love spring! I will post some pics of Tyler on his bike this weekend also.

Mother's Day :)

Well I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day! First, I have the 2 cutest kids in the world. I am so thankful for these 2 little kiddos. First, Tyler is such a sweet, playful, funny little boy. And did I metion cute? Last night I was out at a bridal shower and when I came back he yelled out ' I made you a card for Mother's Day'. It was so funny. And Trev is saying 'No, Tyler, you aren't supposed to tell Mommy...its a surprise!'. And Lindsay is so happy all the time, always smiling and so mellow. I just love her so much. This is my first Mother's Day as a mom of 2 and I couldn't be any happier. My family feels so complete now with these two little ones and Trev is such a great Daddy.

This morning I woke up and had some nice cards from the kids, a Victoria's Secret gift card (hmmm..who picked that one out?? :), and my favorite...godiva chocolate covered strawberries. Then we went to breakfast at IHOP and to my shock, the kids were both perfectly behaved. No outbursts, tears, or running around! That alone was such a treat. It was a bonus for Tyler because most of the Ashburn Police Dept was eating there so he loved seeing all their cars outside as well as them inside. I got to get my hair cut and highlighted and then later we went to dinner. We had someone coming to see the house around 4, so it was a good excuse to get to eat out. Visit from the Boscos

Last weekend, Nate, Megan, Dominic & Sam were in VA for a wedding. We got to see them for a bit on Sunday before they left to head back to Michigan! We had a great time and the kids were all wild as ever as you can see from the group shot below!

Today we went to get some professional pics taken. I have to say that I was very happy with the pictures that we got! The kids were super cooperative and did a great job! My favorite picture I can't seem to post for some reason :( But here are my other favorites....

Visit to PA / Baby Olivia

Over the weekend we went up to PA to meet Tracy & Nicole's new baby, Olivia. She was a week old when we saw her. She was very cute, but we can't tell who she looks like quite yet. She did a lot of sleeping as well. Congrats to Tracy & Nicole on becoming parents...we look forward to lots of fun times together with the kids :)
