August Randoms

Last Thurs our development had another summer concert. This time it was an 80's cover band, The Reflex. We had a nice group that all went together from our block. The music was great and the crowd had a great time. However, this time Lindsay was a bit of a challenge, as she was exhausted. She ended up falling asleep in my arms, which doesn't happen often!

Awe, they LOVE going to the pool. On Sat Lindsay put one of my purses over her shoulder and said 'bye mama, I'll see you later...going to the pool'. :)

Hershey Park

Last weekend we went up to Herhsey, PA to go to Hershey Park for the day and to visit my college roommate, Christine. The trip went very well. Kids were great in the car and on their best behavior at the park.

Crowded Streets Concert

Last week Brambleton had another little Summer Concert. Crowded Streets played, which is a Dave Matthews cover band. It was a lot of fun. Kids had a blast as usual and this time several neighbors came along! It was a fun, hot night!

Brad Paisley Concert

Trev and I love to go to concerts when we can. Last summer with moving, etc we didn't make it to any. Sat night the 2 of us went to see Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley at Nissan Pavillian. We had awesome seats and it was an amazing concert. I may say one of the best I have been to, worth every penny! We were able to miss the rain and get out of the parking lot quickly, which we hear is rare there. Here are some pics below from our fun night :)

Summer Concert

Brambleton (our community) holds Summer concerts every other Thurs in the summer. The first one I volunteered at and it was a lot of fun, so I decided to have the family come to the next one. These pics are from last Thurs (I am a little behind :). We met up with friends for pizza at Scottos and then went over to hear the band play. The kids had a blast! We stayed the entire time and Tyler didn't want to leave!! We are definately looking forward to the next one, which is next week :)

Growing up!

To my surprise, when I went to get Lindsay on Monday morning, she was standing there looking at me, and not in her crib! She had climbed out!! So for safety reasons, we took her out. I would hate for her to fall on her head or something and get hurt. And as I was thinking about her new feat yesterday, I realized...no more cribs in the Fetterman house....so sad!!! My babies are getting so big!!

Trev comes in to take the front off, so that we can convert it into a toddler bed. I had gotten a rail at babies r us during the day to put on like we did for tyler.

Well, turns out that you HAVE to buy the piece from the furniture manufacturer that made the crib for this particular style. Therefore, we moved Lindsay's mattress to the floor (thanks to Shanna for the suggestion, as I really don't think I would have thought of this myself).
And to my delight...she actually slept on the mattress the entire night and didn't get up!!! I think this temp fix is a winner for a while until we figure out what to do with converting the crib to the next step!!

Trip to PA

Over the weekend we went to PA to visit Trev's family. Trev plays in a 3 day golf tournament with his dad and brother every year. Here are some pics from the weekend.
