Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year! Ok...well its a little late :) Its been a while since I have blogged (although I have now done two entries tonight). Work has been super busy, kids have kept me busy... I guess life is just moving fast! However, we sure had a great, fun start to 2011. We had some friends over for a little New Year's Eve party and it ended up being a really fun time! The kids had a blast....both of mine stayed up to see the ball drop!! They were so excited. They both went to Party City with me to pick out plates, noise makers, etc. And they set it all up on the table as the first picture shows. Too cute!! We had so much fun and are so lucky to have so many wonderful friends in our life!! Can't wait to see what else 2011 has in store for us!!!

The kids decorated the table...maybe next time we will skip the noise makers :)
Tons of food!

Catching Up

Well when its too cold to go outside, we are stuck inside! Right now one of the popular things in the house to do is to play games on their mini computers. Tyler loves playing with his DS and a neighbor gave Lindsay a Leapster. So the two of them like to spend time playing with them.

This picture is cute. This dress that Lindsay had on was mine when I was little. She was SOO excited to wear 'her mommy's dress' to school !

Its Been A While...

I know, I know...I haven't blogged in a while. Well let me explain! We have had a lot going on since we got back from our Disney trip. We have had Tyler playing t-ball and therefore busier than usual weekends and nights. However, what has been the biggest change around here is that I got a new job. Yes, that's right...I made a hard decision to leave my position at Orbital after 6 1/2 years! I really loved working there and didn't think I would be leaving any time soon, but got called for a job, went for the interview and decided to take it. I now work for General Dynamics. I am still doing scheduling, but now in a lead role. Its been very busy (hence working at night sometimes to catch up and help with the learning curve), but I have to say that I really like it!! I think it was a good move for me and I am thankful for this new opportunity in my life! However, for all of my Orbital friends, I miss you all Terribly!!

Now on to the good stuff...here are some pics. Here are a few pics from my last day at Orbital.

Disney!

Well our first real family vacation was a hit! And how couldn't it be..we went to Disney! The kids both loved flying, so that was a relief! And we all had a blast. Our hotel was amazing, we would definately stay there again. We got to ferry back and forth to the Magic Kingdom, which was super fun. We could also see the fireworks from our hotel beach and got to see a Boat Light Parade each night from the hotel beach also. It was perfect!! Tyler rode every ride possibly...even Space Mountain! He's my dare devil! Lindsay enjoyed the princesses, of course :)
Here are some pics to share...

Our hotel, the Wilderness Lodge, was amazing! We will definately stay there again!
